I am concerned with things being connected where it is unclear whether there is a connection from before. Where you look at the ripple effects of how the surroundings around you influence what is created.

When I work, I try to look back at things that I have worked on before, or compare it to how it was several years ago. At times I try to conjure up something that can remind me of something sacred or religious. I believe that many of the thoughts that emerge during my process of the pictorial are something that could also have arisen 100 years ago.

Much of what I think about can be difficult to imagine. That it cannot be seen, but only explained. With my works I try to bring out this invisible. Through fragmented thoughts about changes that are constantly developing. Where the goal is for it to be able to show itself.
